US Coin Collecting - A Father and Son Team

US coin collecting is normally an individual hobby as rarely do you see a team working the collection together. The recent Bowers and Morena coin sale in Baltimore saw a father and son duo working together and witnesses claim they are all about the coins.

Laura Sperber of Legends Numismatics claims she only knows of one other 'true' team coin collectors. The father/son team are putting together the MNS Joint Venture Seated dollar set. They began collecting in 2002 starting with liberty nickels and completed the whole set in 3 years. They next tackled the Seated Dollar Set. After that they began their upgrading.
