A rare US 1913 Liberty Head nickel sold for 3.7 million dollars at a public auction recently. The coin, featured in a 1973 Hawaii Five-O episode sold last Thursday by the Heritage Auction Gallery in Orlando Florida.

The Liberty Head was known as the Olsen-Hawn piece and is one of five known to exist. The name of the specific seller and buyer were not released but previous owners were Egypt's King Farouk and Los Angeles Lakers owner Jerry Buss.
